The cabinets facing the living room have cross reeded glass & brushed metal inserts to compliment the glass & silver backsplash with a continual arch running across the the entire face of the door cutouts as a bold architectural element.

At the kitchen entrance the waterfall countertop steps down to accommodate a 4 seat cantilevered table for casual and convenient dining. Above the refrigerator the arched display continues the curve them to play off the rigid shaker panel doors and crisp custom milled crown. All our cabinets are made from domestic plywoods and hardwoods.

A very European style kitchen with 2 islands to meet the needs of a busy household and evening entertaining.

The multi-level island incorporates 2 dishwashers, Trash/Recycle bins, sink and bar height seating with custom corbels. The center island allows two seats on one end while the other strategically places a prep sink with plenty of storage to spare.

Wood Lover’s Contemporary kitchen with metal accenting. The low ceilings were cause for the upper glass inserts in the upper cabinets to help give the illusion of a taller room.

All wood grains were continual and bookmatched to ensure a well thought out custom build. The extra large sink and sit down island was broken up with the use of a hand made butcher block opposite the cooking area and a very simple metal bracket system to elevate the granite bar top for stools. Mirroring the island is a ceiling header for hanging decorative cookware.

This is a Modern take on a Traditional kitchen. Rather than the typical raised panel doors this client opted for a handsome applied moulding to adorn the faces and fluted side panels.

The upper cabinet ends have been opened up with the illuminated floating display shelves as well as the sink centered with the window having an arched lightbridge. Above the under counter wine cooler there’s the eye pleasing ’X’ wine racks to keep up on inventory. The double door pantry cabinet utilizes large pullout shelving for hard to reach drygoods.

For the family of 6 there needs to be a big pantry. A pantry with plenty of dry good storage on pullout shelves. You’ll also need lots of counter space for food prepping and a eased traffic flow with the kitchen be the hub of the house.

The open pass through to the living room has been framed out with crisp corbels supporting the arched lightbridge. The raised panel doors not only cover the cabinets but have been milled and incorporated into every surface of this fine woodwork.

We were able to transform a simple 2 walled kitchen into an elegant stunning statement with sit down bar top island and wine storage to set the mood. Knotty Alder Shaker doors and millwork are in keeping with the tongue and groove ceiling as this home is nestled on top of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Asheville.

The dishwasher has been raised by a tray drawer for ease of access while doing dishes and enjoying the scenic view framed in by the corbeled arch lightbridge the doubles as a valance. The upper cabinets take turns going to the ceiling to lighten the look and expose the beautiful millwork.

Better view, more daylight and more room to enjoy your time in the kitchen. An island was added in the wall’s place with storage cabinets functioning as buffet while the business side houses the dishwasher and trash pullout on either side of the sink. Per owners request- the stove countertop is 10” deeper than the standard for added work surface. All the daily plate ware is stored in the full length wood framed glass doors just a turn away from the dishwasher. The pantry was placed strategically to the left of the stove where the wall return was the deepest and efficiently unobtrusive. The glass door display cabinets along the ceiling lighten things up as the mission style grey stained doors serve as the foundation of this calming kitchen.

Remove the mirrors! Open up the closet space and slide a bar in. Remove floating walls and place a functional island in its place and be social. Swap out the sliders in the breakfast area and replace with main sink cabinet/double oven and look out to the golf course while fixing the next meal. Remove the old drywalled pantry closet and build pantry hutch in a convenient location to look like a freestanding piece of furniture. Add dovetail drawers, spice pullouts, appliance caddy and wood framed translucent glass and now you have a beautiful kitchen that will stand the test of time.
